Monaco Star Cup - Karting

Giorgio Pantano won the weekend's star studded kartin event in the principality of Monaco.

He qualified on pole position and led from start to finish in the race to lead home ex Grand Prix ace Alex Caffi and Vincenzo Sospiri. Champ Car hero Alex Zanardi was also due to take part but his engine failed to fire for the main race. Giorgio also bagged the fastest lap of the race.
