Zip Formula Championship

Brask Management ace Mike Spencer has won the inaugural Zip Formula Championship after taking a win and a second place in the two races at Donington Park on Sunday.

A big crowd witnessed Mike take the title in the two races that formed part of the European Super Racing weekend featuring European Touring Cars and the FIA GT Championship.

His prize for winning the championship is a drive with the championship winning Manor Motorsport team in Formula Renault next season. Mike has only been beaten two the chequered flag on three occasions this year - Twice into second place by rival drivers and once where he was penalised (along with several other drivers) by race officials for using too much kerb.
