Zip Formula

Brask Management ace Mike Spencer continued his winning run and therefore extended his championship lead in the Zip Formula Championship event at Silverstone this weekend.

Mike dominated the weekend from start to finish despite never having raced at Silverstone before. He setthe fastest time in the morning's free practice session from Ed Redfern and Lewis Carter. Official qualifying saw Mike take pole position from ex Formula Ford Zetec racer Sascha Hamm by three tenths of a second. In the race Mike again came out on top winning the race by eight tenths of a second from Carter and Josh Fisher. Mike also took the fastest lap thus adding the Silverstone lap record to the others he has collected this season.
