Pantano vs Super Nova - update
The case in the English High Court for damages re. Super Nova for
wrongfully terminating Giorgio's contract is set for June 24th 2002
and is expected to last four days.
Lars-Christian-Brask, the chairman of Brask Management said; "We
knew it was a long shot to get an injunction against Super Nova
for putting someone in Giorgio's contracted seat, but it was a legal
procedure we had to take. The legal system though has granted us
a fast track case for damages and that in itself is a big victory."
"For Giorgio's part we have had two offers for drives in Formula
3000, but due to legal bottlenecks we can't sign any race contracts
until we know response from Super Nova and secondarily from Astromega.
We expect to be able to announce Giorgio's new team during next
week, if sponsors and share holders agree it is relevant options."
"One of the biggest talents in motor sport has been wrongly
contractually and unlawfully dropped by what was thought of as a
professional team and experienced team owner are the bare facts
at the moment."
