Jacky's progress in the clas continued as he finished in 10th.

European F3000 - Nürburgring

It was a great weekend for Brask Management's drivers racing on home soil. With Giorgio Pantano taking a win in the International version at Monza, German ace Alex Müller scored second place in the seventh round of the European Formula 3000 Championship at the Nürburgring.

The Brask Management backed driver remains third in the championship, but still has all the chances of finishing runner-up in the final round in Valencia, Spain in three weeks time. "In Valencia, a win is due", says Müller...

In free practice, He used the chance to try out several different things on his car together with the team. In qualifying, the notorious Eifel-weather caused problems. "We opted for a dry set-up, but during qualifying, rain set in. Then, I drove into the pits and my team changed the set-up of the car. Then, I went out again on rain tyres, but seventh place on the grid was all I could manage", said Müller. In warm-up on Sunday morning, he found a good rain set-up, but the race took place in dry conditions, which allowed Alex to use the experience from free practice.

On the first lap of the race Alex climbed up from seventh to second place. "I had a super start and was already able to improve from seventh to fourth on the first corner. Then, I gained one more position in the Ford-corner and in the Dunlop-hairpin, I passed another opponent, so that I was already second after half a lap", he said. "In Formula 3000, where overtaking is not exactly easy, it is very important to make up as many places as possible on the first lap", Müller analysed later. "What you don't get on the first lap, you usually don't get afterwards either." In the remainder of the race, Alex Müller defended his position and came home in second place behind race winner Felipe Massa. It was his fourth podium finish of the season. "Now, I have two second places and two thirds, but I would like to win at the final. At least, the tendency is upward", said Müller.

The final round of the season will take place in Valencia, Spain, October 7.

V-Sports V8 - Silverstone

Miku Santavirta and Thorkild Thyrring flew the flag for Team Brask - the latter making his V-Sports debut. Miku was his usual quick self setting a blistering time in qualifying nearly 1.5 seconds ahead of his nearest rival. Thorkild was unhappy with the set up of the car and struggled with the car. In the first race Miku was penalised for a false start due to a trackside official mistaking Barry Lee for having pole position. The officials initially endorsed Miku's license but the team successfully protested the decision after the race. Sadly nothing could be done to give back the 10 second penalty that had already been imposed during the race. Miku knew he would have been unable to put 10 seconds between himself and Kevin Clarke and so left the Intersport racing driver to take the win. In the second race Miku retired joining Thorkild on the sidelines - the Dane retiring from both events but Miku once again came away with the meeting's fastest lap.

T-Cars - Knockhill

The tricky Knockhill circuit in Scotland greeted the T-Car drivers for the first time over the weekend. Ryan Lewis finished sixth in the first race but took third place from series leader Tom Chilton through Duffus Dip on lap six and held on to it to take his 10th podium placing of the season.
