Team Brask now has its very own race circuit. We have,
via the Danish arm of Team Brask, bought Sturup Raceway in Southern
Sweden. Sturup could not be in a better location for the team -
only 35 minutes from Central Copenhagen - the Danish capital - and
adjacent to Sturup Airport which is served by direct flights from
London. The six biggest Southern Swedish cities are all within a
maximum of one hours drive from the circuit.
"This purchase is an investment, but it is also
an important part of Team Brask's continued development," says
Lars-Christian Brask. "To look after our marketing partners'
needs we want to provide 'Extreme Days' as part of the package.
The monopolistic situation for track hire/time has forced us to
make this move and invest in a circuit of our own."
There will be extensive development to the venue over
the next few years including the building of a modern hotel and
an extension to the circuit which will take the overall length to
2.1km. Planning regulations at the facility are ideal - the track
can be used 365 days a year and there are no noise restrictions.
Team Brask's test, development and corporate days will be centred
at Sturup Raceway from this Summer.
