Miku Santavirta took two race wins in only his second race meeting with the V-Sports V8's at Donington Park. Brask Management driver Miku topped the timesheets in the morning qualifying session over seven tenths of a second quicker than double champion Kevin Clarke. The Finn made no mistakes in the remaining two events, storming home to victory in both with winning margins of 20 seconds and 9 seconds over Clarke. Miku also recorded the fastest laps in all three races and was the clear overall winner on the day's overall points standings.

Christian Dick took a podium place in the first race but suffered gearbox failure in the second which put him out for the rest of the meeting. Rob Fountain's own car is not ready yet and he had a second outing in the third Team Brask car taking a brace of thirds and a fourth.

Formula Renault, Brands Hatch, Easter Monday

Despite some encouraging performances in pre-season testing Allan Simonsen's season got off to a disappointing start at Brands Hatch. Allan started the weekend suffering a testing shunt which left PBR with a lot of work to do prior to qualifying. Consequently Allan struggled and qualified down in 24th place but came through to 13th at the flag.
