Team
Brask have agreed with IBC Champion Boxer Dennis Holbaek to train
and test him and to assist him in his challenge for the Danish,
Nordic and Scandinavian Formula Ford Championships in 2001. Dennis
has bought a Formula Ford from our affiliated team (Team Copytec)
in Denmark and will come to England for a few weeks of testing and
training. During this time he will spend time in the workshop with
managing director Alf Boarer and chief engineer Mark Arnold to understand
a single seater set-up. Dennis's father Vagn raced succesfully in
Europe in the seventies and eighties in both formula and saloon
cars. Dennis has succesfully competed in karts, but is more known
for his professional championships in Boxing. Dennis will still
box 2-3 matches a year and will contest a World Championship bout
this summer in Las Vegas, but having reached 27 he is ready for
a new challenge with Team Brask. Several other teams had already
shown interest in Dennis, but our profile and infrastructure suited
his ambitions best.
