V-Sports Racing V8 entrant Martin Lewis has pulled out
of the series before a wheel has turned in anger. This is disappointing
for the series but is unlikely the affect the overall apparent upsurge
in interest in the spectacular class. Lars Christian Brask commented:
"It is a fact that Martin Lewis has asked us to cancel his order
for a V8, but apart from that I have no comments other than motor
sport is a different world for the world of business that I come
from! I am still confident that the VSR V8's will be out in numbers
for the 2001 season. The BRSCC has really put a great race programme
together and Team Brask supports the new series 100%."
